Sun Dial Mottos

Originally, sundials were not only used to keep track of time but also to remind you that death is approaching ever closer with it's tiny and cold hands. This part was done with inscriptions known as sundial mottos. Some are very familiar.
Tempus fugit: Time flies
Fruere hora: Enjoy the hour
Omnes vulnerant, ultima necat: All hours wound, the last one kills
Serius est quam cogitas: It's later than you think
Lente hora, celeriter anni: An hour passes slowly, but the years go by quickly
Carpe diem: Seize the day
Festina lente: Make haste, but slowly
Tempus edax rerum: Time devours things
Vivere momento: Remember to live
